Leaf: Leaves long-stalked, blade elliptical to inverted ovate, irregular, serrate to double-serrate on the edge.
Flower: blooms in March and April, inflorescences 10–30-flowered, contracted bundles. Petals in number 4–6. The fruit is achenes with a membranous edge.
