Botanical description

Habitus: conical crown up to 30 m wide, the trunk is approximately 1 m wide, has massive main branches, bark has black rough cracks

Leaf: the leaves are triangular in shape, dark green in color, the blade is 3-6 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, irregularly dentated, has 3-6 lobes on each side

Flower: has dioecious, inconspicuous male and female flowers in catkins

Fruit: wind dispersed

Hybrid species between Populus alba and P. tremula, resistant to drought, tolerates acidic soil
