Native to the Americas and Asia.

Botanical description

Habitus: A beautiful climber that grows quickly and greens up extremely flat and smooth walls. Due to its way of spreading, it is able to cover large and smooth surfaces with its clinging roots (sucker roots). 

Leaf: The leaves of the noble varieties are ragged, three-lobed, with a beautiful wine-red colour in autumn.

Flower: Flowers are small, clustered, green-yellow.

Fruit: Fruits are dark blue berries.

Growth conditions / Cultivation / Care

It is planted with a cultivated root clump. Grafted onto the basic row. They are not demanding in terms of position and soil, grow quickly and are able to cover large smooth areas.
