Tsuga canadensis
It comes from colder regions of North America. It is hardy, does not like drought, does not require cutting, is frost-resistant to -34°C
Habitus: It is a widely conical, irregularly and finely branched tree, growing to 20 m
Leaf: needles are flat, short, soft, blunt or pointed, dark green and shiny on top, on the reverse side with two whitish stripes.
Flower: heterosexual
Fruit: The cones are small, non-disintegrating, at the end of the side branches
It requires humid, deep soil, shade, it is planted around water areas, it is a dominant of rockery or perennial flower beds
