Botanical description

Habitus: the crown is slender, elliptical, dense, obloid, narrowly oval in stature, forms a dense compact crown, the bark is gray, smooth, the branches are thin, 

Leaf: oblong, ovate, pointed, saw-toothed edge, with distinct veining, yellow-green in autumn, simple and shiny

Flower: it blooms from April to May at the same time as the leaf flowers develop, flowers are monoecious, catkins, inconspicuous, drooping, 

Fruit: it is in the form of an egg-shaped nut, ribbed and flat on the underside, it ripens in October and remains on the tree until late autumn
