Botanical description

Habitus:  the crown is widely spread, sparse and irregular, , the bark is dark brown or light brown and cracked, yellow-gray to brown-gray

Leaf: buds are opposite, palmate with 3-5 lobs, the leaf blade is hairy, glabrous on the upper side, the petiole is 20-50 mm long, hairy

Flower: It blooms April to May, flowers are monoecious, five numbered yellow-green, 

Fruit: fruit is a samara – flat winged achenes

Growth conditions / Cultivation / Care

The smallest from all maples, it grows as a bush, warm loving, nutrient non-demanding, resistant to frost
